Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama wants to win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with Burkina Faso.

The 34-year-old was on the bench when the Stallions were piped to the title by Nigeria at the last tournament held in South Africa.

“The target is to go to the finals again, because having a Cup is a bit challenging in Africa,” Soulama told Starr FM.

“All the teams going will like to do their best and get to the finals. By God’s grace last year we got the chance to get to the finals and this year our target is to win the Cup.”

Soulama could have been first choice following the long-term injury to Daouda Diakite but the delayed the start of the Ghana Premier League due to a court action has cost him.

He joined Hearts of Oak this season on a free transfer after leaving rivals Asante Kotoko where he spent seven seasons.
