Ghana legend Abedi Pele is the latest to kick against the proposed 10,000 Ghana cedis (US$ 6,450) ex gratia for outgoing members of the Executive Committee.

The mandate of the 22-man body ends next month and the 4 August extra-ordinary congress will usher in newly-elected members.

The three-time African Footballer of the Year, a fierce critic of the Nyantakyi administration, says it will be misplaced for Congress to ratify the proposal.

"To be very honest with you I agree with all those who think that will be unfortunate and a waste of task payers' money," Pele said.

"Colts football has died and it will be prudent to channel such resources into things like that and ensure we tap into potential and get the next big stars for our game."

Relegated King Faisal boss Alhaji Gruzah and ace Sports Journalist Kwabena Yeboah have also condemned the decision to pay end of service.
