AC Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani is backing Kevin-Prince Boateng to be an instant hit on his return to the club.

The 28-year-old is expected to sign a permanent deal with the Rossoneri on January 4 after impressing during a short trial.

The Ghana international is expected to provide steer at the heart of the park for the Italian giants.

And AC Milan joint-CEO Adriano Galliani has praised the versatility of the former Schalke outcast.

“Boa is a versatile player,” he told MilanNews.

“He can play many roles, he’s good and I think he’ll help us in various areas of the pitch.

“Mario Balotelli and Jeremy Menez? Our forward line will be strengthened by their returns. I think that Milan still has a very good squad.”

Boateng is returning to competitive action for the first time since frozen out at German side Schalke 04 in May this year.
