AC Milan Ghanaian striker Kingsley Boateng claims he has recovered from a knee injury which has sidelined him for six months.

The 18 year old who plays for Rossoneri Youth picked up the injury last season.

"I"ve returned and I am ready but the coach decides when to call me," Boateng said.

"I"ll try to get back as soon as possible to the level of my team and also get my form back I will have to work."

Kingsley has been at Milan since 2007 and was born in Pordenone, Italy to Ghanaian parents.

Until his injury, he was one of the most important players in the youth leagues of Italy and he’s expected to be given a shot in the AC Milan first team in the coming months.

Boateng, who is not related to Kevin-Prince Boateng, has played for Italy's U19 team but still eligible to play for Ghana.
