Tashkent: Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli will progress to the knockout rounds of the AFC Champions League should they deal Bunyodkor a fifth successive defeat in Group C on Monday.
Al Ahli ran out 2-0 victors when the pair met on Matchday One and have led the group ever since, while the Uzbek side, who welcome back Vadim Cemirtan from suspension for the clash at Bunyodkor Stadium, have yet to pick up a point.
The visitors warmed up for the fixture with a 2-1 victory over Al Faisaly in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday while Bunyodkor, who languish in mid-table of the Uzbek League, drew 1-1 with Dinamo Samarqand on the same day.
