Seoul: FC Seoul and Western Sydney Wanderers are aiming to get their first points of the 2017 AFC Champions League when the pair meet in Group F at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday.
Semi-finalists last year, FC Seoul have endured a miserable start to their continental campaign, suffering successive defeats to Shanghai SIPG and Urawa Red Diamonds. A 1-0 win over Gangwon in the K-League Classic on Saturday, however, will see the Korean side to go into what is already a must-win clash with increased confidence.
After conceding nine times in two games in heavy losses to Urawa Red Diamonds and Shanghai SIPG, Western Sydney have the worst defensive record on the continent. The 2014 champions will also head to the Korean capital without the suspended Scott Neville after the defender picked up his second booking in two matches in the 5-1 Matchday Two loss in Shanghai.
