Albert Adomah and Rabiu Mohammed won their first senior caps for Ghana by coming on as second half substitutes in the international friendly with Brazil on Monday.

It however wasn’t a pleasant debut for the duo as the Black Stars slumped to a 1-0 defeat through a Damaio strike on the stroke of halftime at the Craven Cottage in London.

Ghana however held their own against the star-studded Brazilians despite playing most of the game a man deficit after Daniel Opare was red-carded in the 33rd minute.

The loss represents the fourth consecutive time; the Black Stars has had to succumb to a defeat to the South Americans.

Ghana’s next assignments will be the final game away to Sudan in the 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualification series and then an international date with rivals, Nigeria in London next month.
