Aduana Stars captain Godfred Saka has urged his teammates to keep their focus in his absence in their week nine outstanding fixture against Wa All Stars on Thursday.

The Ogya Boys will lock horns with the defending league champions in the rescheduled fixture of match day 9 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park without inspirational captain Godfred Saka, who was red carded in their 1-2 victory over Great Olympics last Monday.

Nevertheless Saka, who is the leading the assists chart with five in the campaign, believes his absence will not trouble the side in the encounter.

“I don’t think missing out in the game will affect our chances because the team have equally good players who are ready to fill any void created by my absence,” Saka told Graphic Sports.

“We are focused and ready to avenge that loss and I want to urge my colleagues not to be complacent ahead of the match,” he added.

Aduana are 2nd on the table with 21 points but will go top should they beat Wa All Stars on Thursday.
