Aduana captain Godfred Saka plays down league title favourites tags

Aduana Stars captain Godfred Saka has played down their league title favourites tags following their fine start to the season.

Many local football advocates have touted the Dormaa-based side as favourites to annex this season's Ghana Premier League title after their good start in the ongoing campaign where they currently occupy second spot on the log but with a game in hand.

Saka, however believes it is too early to place that tag on them.

“I think it is too early, we have just played 10 matches, there are more matches to go,” he told reporters.

“We just want to keep on with our good performance and make sure we get to the top.”

Aduana Stars are hoping to win the Ghana Premier League for the second time after clinching the title in 2010.
