Operations Manager of Aduana Stars George Gyawu has denied making nonsense of the Ghana FA's ban on Ebusua Dwarfs.

The Cape Coast side have been suspended from playing at their favourite Robert Mensah Stadium for twelve matches following supporter attacks on referees and other officials in their 1-0 loss to Aduana on March 11.

Several club heads have since come out to say the decision was harsh.

Gyawu was however reported on some radio stations in Accra to have completely blasted the GFA's decision but he says it is a total misrepresentation of what he actually said.

"I never made nonsense of the FA decision like it is being reported on radio," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"All I said like many other club leaders was that I believe the decision was harsh and that rather than make the club suffer, the perpetrators be rather found and prosecuted according to the law of the land.

"I don't think the supporters who attacked the officials were representative enough of Dwarfs fans hence the decision to punish the club."

Dwarfs have since appeaed the decision which was reached by the Disciplinary Committee and given approval by the Executive Committee a week ago.
