Aduana Stars ace reveals love for Hearts of Oak

Aduana Stars marksman Derrick Sasraku has disclosed that he is a die-hard Hearts of Oak fan, but says he's not looking to swap his current club for them anytime soon.

Sasraku played an integral role for the Fire Boys during their run in to the Ghana Premier League title triumph, scoring nine goals and registering nine assists.

The rasta-haired forward has been linked with a move away from the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park, with Hearts of Oak mooted as his destination.

Sasraku confessed his long-standing love for the Accra-based side but downplayed the reports and claimed he's ready to help Aduana Stars have a magnificent campaign in the CAF Champions League next season.

"I'm a staunch Hearts of Oak fan. I was then a ball boy at the Accra Stadium during the days of Dong Bortey and Charles Taylor, and the first time I played against Bortey during a G6 competition I had goosebumps," says Sasraku on Happy FM.

"I had a chat with Dong Bortey during the game and told him how I adore him. Had it not been the grace of God, I don't think I would have performed well in the match because I was so overwhelmed. Hearts have been the club of my heart since my [Adabraka] Hearts Babies days."

"However, my utmost goal now is to help Aduana win the Champions League next. Management of the club are putting things in place so that we can achieve this dream, so I want to be part the project. I'm not leaving anytime soon."
