Aduana Stars have filed an appeal against the Disciplinary Committee's ruling on their points deduction case against giants Hearts of Oak, club CEO Albert Commey has confirmed.

The Fire Club is asking the Appeals Committee to overturn the ruling of the DC and award them boardroom points from their 1-0 home loss against the Phobians in February.

"We have appealed against the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee," CEO Commey said.

The Disciplinary Committee ruled: "The cost awarded against Hearts of Oak by the Player Status Committee is not specific to decisions of the Disciplinary Committee that can lead to a forfeiture of matches."

Aduana Stars and Cape Coast-based Ebusua Dwarfs both filed separate cases against the Phobians but their cases were dismissed by the DC.

Dwarfs have not officially announced whether they will appeal against ruling.
