Captain of Aduana Stars Godfred Kpapko Saka is eyeing a quick return from his long injury lay-off against Liberty Professionals in their Ghana Premier League match day 21 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Saka, who sustained a career threatened ankle injury in a 1-1 draw with Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium three months ago, is itching to hit the ground running again after recovering faster than the expected time of his action return.

"I will be fit in two weeks so hopefully I will play against Liberty Professionals at home in our next game after Great Olympics today," Saka told the Graphic Sports.

"It has been a long journey of recovery, but it has also been a steady progress and I pray there will be no setback towards final recovery because I’m eager to return to action and help Aduana win the league at the end of the season," he added.

Aduana returned to winning ways in midweek after inflicting a 1-0 defeat on the relegation threatened Great Olympics at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
