The CEO of Aduana Stars, Albert Yahya Commey has apologized unreservedly on behalf of the club following reports that journalists Felix Kwabena Romark and James Sowah were assaulted during his side’s weekend clash with Accra Hearts of Oak in Dormaa.

Commey, an Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, described the alleged attack as unfortunate hinting the perpetrators will be fished out soon.

“I wish to apologise to the gentlemen involved in the attacks. I must say such things happen at the blind side of some of us. We apologized unreservedly for whatever happened,” Commey told GHANAsoccernet.

He reiterated that the perpetrators of such acts will be brought to book to make the Nana Agyemang Badu Park one of the most friendly match venues in the league.

“We will do everything within our power to bring the perpetrators of the act to book,” he assured.

The respected Aduana Stars CEO however hinted that the club will issue a statement on the acts soon.
