The CEO of the 2010 league champions has since hailed the gesture of the former Liberty Professional striker.

“Knowing Asamoah Gyan from afar, he has always proven to be a generous person. I have heard him do a lot of things for communities as well as individuals and now the Black Queens,” Commey noted.

“I think what he has done shows leadership and how inspirational he is. It is a kind gesture and he will obviously be rewarded for that.”
