Aduana Stars chief Albert Commey has denied claims experienced right back Godfred Saka is not committed to the club after losing his captaincy to Daniel Darkwah.

The Dormaa based club has lost their first two games of the season, first to Inter Allies and at home to Wa All Stars.

The two defeats has resulted in head coach Nurudeen Amadu slapping in his resignation for claims of non performance.

Issues of lack of commitment has been muted with some key players including Godfred Saka being fingered for the team's disappointing start to the season.

But Commey says the player is committed and showed it during the game against Wa All Stars.

“Saka is Saka and he showed that he has leadership qualities despite not having the captains armed band,” Commey told Accra based CITI-FM

“He is still committed and I saw the same Saka I know in the game against Wa All Stars it was just unfortunate that we lost that game.”
