Aduana Stars have confirmed talks are advanced with Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko over a possible signing of defender Godfred Saka.

Kotoko have reportedly tabled a $20,000 offer but Aduana Stars want them to cough up $35,000 before sanctioning the deal.

"Talks are still ongoing. We have been toggling between figures. Kotoko came up with an offer which has not been accepted yet so Saka is still Aduana Stars' player," Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey told Accra-based Asempa FM.

Saka has been on the radar of the Porcupine Warriors since the 2012/13 season but have failed to meet Aduana Stars's demands for him.

Hearts of Oak also made a bid for the defender but are yet to table an offer.
