Aduana Stars have denied signing former Asante Kotoko midfielder Yahaya Mohammed but confirm there have been talks.
The local media on Thursday claimed the Dormaa-based side has penned a two-year deal with the 2014 CHAN star.
Mohammed is available on a free agent after terminating his contract with cash-strapped Libyan side Al Ittihad Tripoli.
But Aduana CEO Albert Commey says there is no deal for the influential versatile player.
ââ¬ÅIt is not true we have signed Yahaya Mohammed,â⬠Commey told GHANASoccernet.com. ââ¬ÅWe have been inundated with calls but this news and I must say it is not true.ââ¬
Aduana, who won the league five years ago, ended the first round of the season in third place- four points behind leaders AshantiGold.
