Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams insists the decision to extend his contract with Aduana is the best for his career.

The 2014 world cup finalist pulled a fast one on Hearts of Oak who were sure of landing the experienced gloves man.

The Phobians  had lost out on Ernest Sowah to sworn rivals Asante Kotoko but were at an advanced stage of negotiations with Adams only for the 26-year-old goalkeeper to pull the plugs on the deal and sign a new 2 year contract with Aduana Stars.

Having returned to training with Aduana ahead of the 2015/2016 league season Adams says the decision to stay on with Aduana is the best for his career.

“I think the decision to stay on with Aduana is the best for my career at the moment,” Adams said

“A lot of things have been said in the media but most are inaccurate but I will speak about it later on.”

“All I can say at the moment is that it is the best for my career at the moment.”

Adams played a pivotal role as as Aduana finished 4th in the just ended First Capital Plus Premier League.
