Aduana Stars midfielder Sam Adams remains cautiously optimistic ahead of the visit of Raja Casablanca in the CAF Confederations Cup next Wednesday.

The midfielder, who has been a key part of the club's African campaign says the club is confident of winning but indicated the Moroccans can not be written off.

Raja Casablanca have been dubbed one of the favourites to qualify to the semis, however, Adams believes they can beat the Moroccans in Dormaa.

” We are hoping to beat them (Raja Casablanca) on Wednesday. But in life you can’t tell what is going to happen tomorrow, If God says is our day, we are going to surprise everyone on the continent. We hope to beat them convincingly,” he told footballmadeinGhana.com.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Premier League Champions have had a difficult time merging domestic football with continental football. Their performances have been affected but beat Liberty 3-2 on Thursday in the match Day One outstanding fixture.

“Football is sometimes like that, what is needed is the three points and we have gotten it that is all,”

“Everything is in the hand of God, I can’t say we are going defend the league. What God says is what is going to happen. Let wait and see what is going to happen.”
