Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey Aryeetey says the club are yet to receive the International Transfer Certificate for newly-acquired striker Nathaniel Asamoah.

As it stands, Asamoah will be ineligible to play against Hearts of Oak in Accra on Sunday.

There were earlier reports the former Kotoko striker would be available for his debut but the Dormaa-based say they are yet to receive his ITC from the Moroccan federation.

"I don't know your source of information but we have applied for the International Transfer Certificate and it's still awaiting transfer," he told Fox FM.

"When it's up to the fifteen days FIFA will issue to us a provisional one. It's left with few days to the fifteen days so as we speak there is no ITC.

"In terms of registration we are done with that so we are on the wait. I can't promise Nathaniel Asamoah will be available for Sunday's game since it's in the hands of FIFA. If the fifteen days is up, the will issue the provisional ITC."
