Aduana Stars striker Derrick Sassraku says the Ghana Premier League title is theirs to lose following their strong start to the season.

The former premier league champions have been in scintillating form this campaign where they are leading the pack with sixteen points and yet to taste defeat after six matches.

And according to Sassraku, whose late header secured maximum points for the ‘Ogya’ lads in their 2-1 victory against Inter Allies at the El-Wak Stadium, says they will occupy top spot till the league comes to an end hence he is pleading with the Premier League Board to declare them champions in advance.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Abusua FM, he said,” Grace and hardworking is the secret behind my performance this season and I am double work to ensure my dream of winning the top scorer award is achieved at the end of the season”

He added” It would be very difficult for the trophy to elude us this season because we won’t give any club the chance to leapfrog us on the league table.”
