Aduana Stars striker Bright Adjei is raring to take the Ghana Premier League by storm after recovering from a niggling injury. Adjei, who became the toast of football fans across the length and breadth of the nation last season when he twice won the BBC Goal of the Week accolade, has been sidelined for four weeks with a knee injury. But, after making a substitute appearance for the side in their 2-1 victory over Inter Allies last week, the 23-year old has affirmed his readiness to hit the ground running during an interview with Graphic Sports. “It’s been a while, I have been nursing an injury but I’m okay now and feeling fit after training with the team," he said. “I will try my best and make sure I regain my form soon, and help my team in the league." Adjei finished last season with nine goals for the club as he was only bettered by Yahaya Mohammed who scored 15 goals.
