Ghanaian midfielder Joachim Adukor saw 16 minutes of action in Gefle’s 1-0 win over Atvidaberg in the Swedish top flight.

The Ghana U20 prospect came on in the 74th minute to replace Simon Lundevall in the vital opening round win on Monday night.

Adukor is hoping to play more games this term haven made just three appearances for Gefle last season.

The 19-year-old played against compatriot Emmanuel Dogbe who lasted 69 minutes for Atvidaberg in the game played at the Stromvallen.

Gefle also had another Ghanaian; Zakaria Abdullai on the bench on Monday night.
