Singapore: Song Ui-young scored six minutes from time to give Singapore’s Home United a 3-2 win over 10-man Than Quang Ninh from Vietnam on Tuesday in the 2017 AFC Cup at Jalan Besar Stadium.

Song scored twice – including the winning goal – as Home United claimed all three points against a Than Quang ninh side that played out the final 15 minutes of the game with ten men following Mac Hong Quan’s sending off for a second bookable offence.

Song Ui-young gave Home United the lead after two minutes, but Patiyo Tambwe levelled the scores in the 32nd minute when he headed home Nghiem Xuan Tu’s cross and, just eight minutes later, Than Quang Ninh went in front when Vu Minh Tuan slotted his shot into the bottom corner.

Home United equalised through Faris Ramli seven minutes after the break and Hong Quan’s sending off in the 75th minute gave the Singaporeans the advantage that allowed Song to score in the 84th minute.
