Tabriz: Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic booked their spots in the 2018 AFC Futsal Championship after claiming the top two spots in Group A of the South and Central Zone Qualifiers on Tuesday.

Uzbekistan remained perfect with their third successive win, after beating Kyrgyz Republic 4-3.

Prior to the match, both teams had already qualified to next year's Finals after picking up two consecutive wins, and the final matchday was to determine supremacy in Group A.

Davronjon Abdurakhmonov opened the scoring in the fourth minute, before Konstantin Sviridov duly doubled their advantage a minute later.

Emil Kanetov was quick to put Kyrgyz Republic on the scoresheet three minutes later, but Mashrab Adilov restored Uzbekistan's two-goal cushion in the 11th minute.

Five minutes from halftime, Dilmurod Shavkatov went on to score his third goal in the qualifiers, only for Kelkel Anarbekov to pull one back for Kyrgyz Republic shortly after.

After the restart, Uzbekistan pushed to find another goal but it was Kanetov who gave Amirzhan Mukanov's side a sliver of hope in the 35th minute.

Bakhodir Akhmedov's side, defended stoutly after that to secure all three points to take Group A supremacy.
