Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has hailed his team’s character having recovered from a disastrous start to make it to the semi finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars booked their last four spot with an impressive 3-0 win over Guinea in the quarter final match played on Sunday in Malabo.

Ghana however had to virtually fight against the odds having lost their opening group game to Senegal to make it this far.

Epic wins over Algeria and South Africa has succeeded in fueling the ambition of winning the Nations Cup which has been elusive for over three decades.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has praised the team for being able to bounce back from their early wobble to make it to the last four.

“We lost our first game to Senegal and I think they were better than us on the day,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“But since then, we have recovered to well to make it this far in the tournament.”

Ghana will now face hosts Equatorial Guinea on Thursday to fight for a place in next Sunday’s grand finale in Bata.
