The Ghana Football Association has asked the injured duo of Abdul Majeed Waris and Jeffery Schlupp to report to the Black Stars camp in Spain by Wednesday.

Coach Avram Grant wants Ghana doctors to independently examine the status of their injuries as he prepares to name his final squad for the competition.

The former Chelsea manager has until midnight of Wednesday to name his 23-man squad for the tournament.

Trabzonspor striker Waris picked up an injury during a league match against last Monday and was sidelined for 10-15 days.

He was excluded from Ghana’s provisional 26-man squad but Grant said he was observing his injury situation.

Schlupp, who plays for Leicester City, picked up a knee injury on New Year’s Day in a league match against Liverpool where he scored the equalizer in the 2-2 draw.
