Algeria's assistant coach Yazid Mansouri says their clash with Ghana at the 2015 AFCON will decide who will top the Group of Death insisting the Black Stars are the favourites of the title.
The Black Stars have been drawn in a difficult Group C at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea next year that runs from Jan. 17 to Feb. 8.
Ghana will face top-ranked African side Algeria, South Africa and Senegal in their first round pool.
Mansouri, a former striker of the Algerian national team, says their clash with the Black Stars will determine the group winners.
"We have inherited a very difficult group especially with the presence of favourites Ghana,"Â Yazid Mansouri assistant coach of Algeria said.
"We will have to prepare very well to succeed and have a good tournament.
"I feel the Algeria versus Ghana match will be decisive for the group."
Ghana will open their campaign with the match against Senegal at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
