Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh says Christian Atsu has a point to prove and will sparkle at the AFCON.

Atsu, on loan at Everton from Chelsea has struggled at both club and international level this season.

He has made only three appearances for the Toffees in the league and has lost his starting role in the Black Stars.

Tetteh backs the mercurial winger to silence his critics in Equatorial Guinea.

“Atsu is the most exciting player with an ability to turn a game on its head,” Tetteh told Ghanasoccernet.com

“He can do things that will cause problems to the opposition.

“He hasn’t played enough football this season but he will see the AFCON as an opportunity to prove a point.

“For me I think this is the opportunity has been waiting for all season.”
