Leicester City winger Jeffrey Schlupp is a huge doubt for the Nations Cup following his inability to join Ghana’s squad in Seville for pre-tournament training.
 Schlupp picked up a knee injury after scoring to earn the Foxes a point against Liverpool on New Year’s Day in the English Premier League.
The 23-year-old is waiting results of the scan he underwent last Friday to know if he will be fit to play in the month-long tournament.
Schlupp will be an added boost for Ghana’s campaign after improved displays this season which has seen him score three goals.
Ghana coach Avram Grant will name his final 23-man squad today to meet CAF's deadline for the submission of squads for the tournament.
