AFCON 2017: Avram Grant trims Ghana squad to 21 ahead of Rwanda tie

Ghana coach Avram Grant has reduced the number of players in his squad for Saturday's 2017 AFCON qualifying match against Rwanda.

The Black Stars now have 21 players for the Group H game in Kigali.

This comes after coach Grant opted to release U23 goalkeeper Richard Ofori to join the Black Meteors at the All Africa Games in Congo.

TP Mazembe duo Yaw Frimpong and Daniel Nii Adjei who were handed late call ups to join the squad as replacements for injured Agyemang Badu and Godfred Donsah have also been released.

The contingent who arrived in Kigali on Thursday night.

The match which is the second Group H match will be played at the Amhoro Stadium at 12:30pm (GMT).
