Ghana winger Solomon Asante says Mubarak Wakaso made the difference in their game against Rwanda.
Wakaso scored a dramatic late winner to seal a victory over Rwanda away in Kigali.
The Amavubi gave a good account of themselves and worked extremely hard as a collective unit, which limited the Black Stars to half chances in major parts of the game.
But Asante says having a player like Wakaso is a plus to the team.
“I have been working with Wakaso for some time now and I know his quality,†Asante told GHANAsoccernet.com
“The game was a difficult one but his ability to decide games was clear for everyone to see, not only in the goal but throughout his play.â€
Black Stars now sit at the summit of Group H with six points from two games and an impressive eight goals scored and just one conceded.
