Former Black Stars coach Emmanuel Afranie wants Kevin-Prince Boateng and Andre Ayew to return for this month's international friendly matches.

The experienced trainer wants Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic to name the duo to play against Senegal and Ivory Coast in Paris between 11-14 November.

Ayew was excluded from the Serb's contingent who beat Sudan 2-0 in the final 2012 Nations Cup qualifier and the barren draw against Nigeria in an exhibition match.

AC Milan ace Boateng is yet to make an appearance for Ghana since June in a 3-1 Nations Cup qualifier win over Congo at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Despite their rich vein of forms at club level, Stevanovic has questioned their disciplinary records.

Afranie has asked the 44-year-old trainer to soften his stance on the two ahead of next year's Nations Cup finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

"Kevin Boateng is doing very well. He scored a hat-trick the other day. He has been doing very well for AC Milan and the same with Andre Ayew," he told Accra-based Happy FM.

"I think the coach should look beyond their attitudes off the pitch. They should be in the Black Stars for the next games."

Kevin Boateng has said he is ready to play for Ghana.
