With the European club season coming to an end over the next week, the attention of the fans will turn to the summer transfer window and the possibility of world-renowned stars changing teams.

Those looking to find the best odds on football bets will see plenty of African players touted with potential big-money switches before the market closes on August 31.

Of the current Ghana national squad, a number could well be stepping out for new clubs next season.

Christian Atsu is looking increasingly likely to leave Chelsea and sign permanently for loan club Newcastle United after some impressive performances for Rafa Benitez’s men in the Championship.

Speculation continues to swirl around where fellow Blue Baba Rahman will play his football next term, while West Ham United’s Andre Ayew has been touted as a possible target for former employers Marseille in the British press this week.

A host of other African players are dominating the transfer betting odds before the window opens next month.

Borussia Dortmund attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to thrive in the Bundesliga, with the Gabon international one of the world game’s most-rounded centre forwards.

The former St Etienne man is being tipped to move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer at odds of 5/2 with Sky Bet, while his dream move of joining Real Madrid is slightly less likely at 12/1.

Algerian star Riyad Mahrez looks set to leave Leicester City after a disappointing campaign for the player and the club, with Chelsea and Arsenal both listed at 3/1 favourites to land the flying winger.

Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has found first-team football hard to come by of late, with the Nigerian tipped to join another Premier League club this summer.

Everton are 3/1 favourites to land the young starlet, while West Ham are fancied at 7/2 to buy the attacker from Pep Guardiola’s men.

City team-mate Yaya Toure still does not have his future sorted out at the Etihad Stadium, with the veteran midfielder out of contract this summer.

A move to China for the Ivory Coast international could well be on the cards at odds of 5/1 with Bet Victor, while a shock switch to Arsenal is listed at 10/1.

Finally, Wilfried Zaha looks set to be the topic of plenty of speculation this summer after another great season at Crystal Palace.

Tottenham Hotspur appear to be his biggest suitors and are at odds of 5/1 to bring him to White Hart Lane.

Palace are keen to keep Zaha for years to come and the bookmakers feel that they could, in odds of 4/9.
