Afriyie Acquah has been handed a starting role in Parma's set-up to face champions Juventus in their Serie A opener at the Juventus Arena on Saturday.
The 20-year-old joined the Gialloblù on a season long-loan deal from Palermo and seems to have convinced coach Roberto Donadoni's about his qualities in midfield.
Acquah is chasing his 32nd Serie A appearance since his debut in November 2011 against Fiorentina.
Parma have guaranteed the Ghana midfielder Acquah regular first team action.
