Afriyie Acquah's reported move to English Premier League side Stoke City is not a done deal, sources have told GHANAsoccernet.com Headquarters.

Circling reports have claimed the 25-year-old has agreed an initial two-year deal with the Potters and could sign the dotted lines as early as today (Friday).

But close sources to the player have told GHANAsoccernet.com the English side has not reached a deal with the Ghana international, just yet.

Acquah has been linked with a move away from Torino after a fabolous campaign last term.

The Ghanaian only arrived  in Turin from Hoffenheim for £2.3million in 2015.

But he has impressed in Italy in the two seasons, scoring four goals and creating five in 42 games for the Serie A side.

Acquah, who has been likened to former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, is believed to be interested in a move to England.

But Torino are eager to tie him down amid widespread reports regarding his long-term future at the club.

The Black Star enforcer has enjoyed fine runs on loan at Sampdoria and Parma.
