Former agent of Awal Mohammed has invoked curses on the Ghana defender for not paying him his cut of the transfer amount realized in his move to South African club Maritzburg United.

The 26-year-old joined the Team of Choice from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in 2012.

Awal is however being accused by an agent named Blessing for not paying him his due for working out the move.

The agent has thus invoked curses on the Black Stars player, insisting he will die ‘a pauper’ for not showing due appreciation for his tireless efforts in ensuring the move materialized.

“I was extremely happy that he [Awal Mohammed] was not called up for the World Cup,” Blessing told Metro FM.

“He has refused to pay my cut in his transfer to the South African club despite my efforts in ensuring the deal went through.

“I know he earns about $80,000 on a yearly basis but yet still he has failed to pay me my money.

“He comes to Ghana and spends his money on friends and girls but refuses to pay me my money.

“Therefore I can say that until he comes to pay me my money, he will have no peace.

“He will finish his money and sell all his cars and houses in a time to come and will die with nothing.

“Because once you refuse to do the right thing after you have received such help from me, I don’t see how you can prosper.”

Awal played for Ghana at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on the back of an impressive debut season in the South African top flight.

He was however not picked by Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah in his provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
