The agent of Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Mensah is confident his client will excel at Norwegian side FK Haugesund.
The 20-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Tippeligen side on Wednesday after impressing on a trial session.
The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder is expected to be key for Haugesund ahead of the start of the new season.
And the player's representative Papa Agyemang is confident his client will be an instant hit at the club.
“I believe this is a good step in Derrick’s development. We had offers from Western Europe but at 20 years, the aim is for him to play in a competitive league and Norway is a good platform” he is quoted by Footballmadeinghana.
“I have no doubt he’ll be a standout performer for FKH who have tracked him for a year. He is relishing a new adventure and cannot wait to start to give his all for the club.”
The UK-based agent also represents Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemng -Badu.
