Agent reveals Ghana star Kwadwo Asamoah could renew contract at Juventus

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah could extend his Juventus stay amid reports linking him with a move out of the club at the end of campaign, according to agent Federico Pastorello.

Asamoah’s contract with the Italian giants expires in the summer and already they are talks about him moving to the French topflight as giants Olympique Marseille and Lyonnais are keen on signing him.

The two clubs have shown great interest in acquiring his services. Asamoah has been with the Old Lady since 2012 but persistent injuries have forced the former Udinese stalwart to only 94 appearances.

He has made 18 in the ongoing season.

And, his agent has confirmed to Tuttosport that Asamoah could renew his stay with the Bianconeri.

“He’s happy, because he’s finally getting better and playing more,” Federico Pastorello toldTuttosport. “I won’t rule out that he could renew.”

His time at Juventus has been a success winning nine trophies, including four Serie A titles with Juventus on course to making it five consecutive league triumph plus are in contention for the UEFA Champions League as they face Monaco in the semi-finals after eliminating Barcelona.
