A group of Asante Kotoko supporters who are aggrieved by the current trend of events at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with regards to the brands of water that are sold there during Kotoko matches have written to the National Sports Authority to ban all brands but for Everpure Drinking Water.
In a release signed by Chairman and Secretary of the United Sports Callers Association Nana Mensah Nhyira and Hamza Sefwi Boako respectively, and copied to the club's Secretariat and the National Sports Authority, the supporters argue that the other water brands sold at the stadium compete with the club's water sponsors, Everpure Drinking Water.
The group are therefore calling on the NSA to ban the sales of the other brands at the stadium during Kotoko matches to make way for a free market for their sponsored brand, Everpure Drinking Water.
