Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu set up the second goal for Udinese in their 2-0 triumph over Atletico Madrid at the Stadio Friuli on Thursday night in the Uefa Europa League.

The 21-year-old was handed a starting berth by coach Francesco Guidolin and he fully impressed in the game serving as the catalyst for the victory.

He made a sublime run from the Udinese half, covering 45 yards, and skipped several Atletico Madrid players before setting up Antonio Floro Flores to blast home from inside of the box to seal the victory.

His Ghana team-mate Kwadwo Asamoah came off the bench to replace Ivorian midfielder Thierry Doubai after 84 minutes.

Udinese are now top of Group I with seven points followed by Atletico Madrid, Rennes and Celtic.
