Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scored a classic goal to mark Ghana’s 100th Nations Cup goal with a ferocious drive in the 1-1 draw with Guinea on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old Udinese player powered home a signature cracker from 20 yards to put the Black Stars ahead on the 28 minutes.
The goal happened to be first debut goal at the continent’s flagship event in second Nations Cup finals appearance.
Ex-international Wilberforce Mfum scored Ghana’s first Nations Cup goal in 1963.
Ghana will face Tunisia in Franceville for the quarter-final clash on Sunday.
