Ahmed Barusso unfazed by fans attack

Ghana midfielder Ahmed Barusso says he is not considering quitting AS Roma after he was attacked by some irate club fans on Tuesday.

Barusso, who recently refused a number of offers to leave the club, was stopped from driving away in his car, and then had his window punched and vehicle kicked at.

The fans are furious that Barusso has rejected several offers tabled for him to leave the club as he is occupying one of the places meant for non EU players.

The 26-year-old has played only three matches for the club as he has spent most of his four years at the club on loan to rival clubs.

Barusso says he is not perturbed by the latest behaviour from the fans.

"They are not the managers of Roma and they are just fans. So this can't force me to leave Rome," Barusso said.

Barusso went on loan to Galatasaray in Turkey and then spent some time with Italian sides Siena, Brescia, Torino and Livorno.
