Akunnor admits ailing Hearts must back-up

Hearts of Oak coach CK Akunnor reckons there is a lot of work to be done to improve his side following the disappointing 2-1 defeat to All Stars.

The Phobians succumbed to their second straight defeat of the Ghana Premier League in front of their home fans at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Akunnor admits some remedial amount of work is required to get their campaign back on track.

"It’s not looking good at all, I agree with you,'' the ex-Ghana captain told MTNFootball.com.

"But we have to work very hard. I am disappointed with this result.

"I don’t think the boys played badly in terms of play but we failed to create enough and did not shoot from behind as Wa All Stars did.

"We need to go back to the table and discuss this."

Hearts who currently lie ninth next make a tough trip to Berekum to play in-form Berekum Chelsea.
