Ex-Ghana captain CK Akunnor has been appointed as an assistant coach of the national Under-17 team.
Akunnor has been out of work since being fired by relegated Premier League side Eleven Wise in January this year.
He is expected to aid head coach Frimpong Manso, another Ex-international, secure qualification to next year's African Under-17 Championship in Rwanda.
Akunnor will join the Black Starlets team that will leave for Zambia on Wednesday night for their second round first leg qualifier.
