Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila scored full marks for his performance during his sides 1-1 drawn game in a friendly encounter against UAE giants Al-Jazira.

The Kuwaiti side are in Dubai to prepare ahead of the resumption of the league season and took on giants Al-Jazira in a pulsating game which ended 1-1 after ninety minutes of action.

Sumaila recently signed a three year permanent deal with Al Qadsia after initially impressing on loan last season.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender was outstanding on the day and was by far his side’s best defender in the game.

Sumaila was a member of Ghana’s team which failed to break out of the group stages in last year’s world cup held in Brazil.
