Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley suffer heavy defeat in Turkish Super Liga debut with Alanyaspor

Ghanaian defender Nuru Sulley opened his Turkish Super Liga account on a disappointing note as Alanyaspor suffered a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Besiktas. 

Sulley was handed a starting berth by coach Kalpar, lasting the entire duration, however did little to help his team escape the wrath of Besiktas at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.

Besiktas race to 4-0 lead before Akbaba scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot for Alanyaspor in the dying embers of the game.

The former Hearts of Oak player was imperious form as the Alanya club qualified to the Turkish top-flight. He will be expected to recorver from the shambolic start to once again guide them to a respectable finsih on the table.

His compatriot as well as teammate Isaac Sackey lasted 46 minutes in the game.
