Albert Adomah has been declared fit for Aston Villa's Championship match against Birmingham City.

The Ghana winger injured his ankle in their 2-1 win last week against Reading after coming on as second half substitute, setting up match winner Jonathan Kodjia.

Although he had not fully recovered, he played the last 35 minutes of the 1-0 win over Fulham.

"It’s too early for Tommy Elphick and Micah Richards," Bruce told pressmen about his squad's injury situation on Thursday

"Albert Adomah is fine. He will be in the squad."
