Albert Adomah is set to make his Cup of Nations debut
By Patrick Akoto
Albert Adomah’s chances of playing at the 2013 African Cup of Nations has been enhanced by the axing of Andre Ayew.
The Bristol City star is among the provisional 24-man squad currently on a training camp in Abu Dhabi.
Coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the continental showpiece and Adomah’s prospect has been improved by the absence of the Marseille star.
If the highly-rated winger makes the cut for his debut appearance in the tournament, he could potentially miss City’s fight against relegation until the middle of February.
Blessin in disguise
